Proper transport and storage for a long-lasting, intact battery
Packaging
The battery cabinet and battery module are each delivered on a pallet. The battery cabinet is equipped with a shock sensor.
Always transport the storage units in the original carton with hazardous goods labelling and check the packaging for transport damage or a triggered shock sensor
- Document the damage on the delivery note and have this confirmed by signature
- Reject deliveries with severe damage
- Inform your supplier immediately
- Damaged modules must not be installed

The VARTA battery modules must be commissioned and registered by a qualified specialist certified by VARTA Storage within 20 weeks of delivery from the manufacturer's factory
Storage at a constant temperature between 5 and 30 °C, optimally 18 °C
